Enhance Your Smile and Your Self-confidence

Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers are thin, custom-made shells that attach directly to the front surface of your teeth. Once in place, they can conceal a wide range of cosmetic imperfections like chips, cracks, and minor misalignment. To place veneers, Dr. Hughes will remove a small amount of enamel from the front of your teeth. He will take impressions of the teeth, which will guide technicians as they craft veneers that can give you a beautiful, natural-looking smile enhancement.

Teeth Whitening

Dental staining can occur because of certain foods, genetics, age, and other factors. Dr. Hughes offers both in-office and at-home teeth whitening options. Together, you and Dr. Hughes will determine the one that is most suited to your schedule, budget, and lifestyle. If you have severe stains, he may recommend in-office treatment, followed by at-home care and a second office procedure. If you choose at-home care, you will receive a kit including custom-made whitening trays and whitening solution.

Dental Bonding

Bonding can conceal minor blemishes, reshape your teeth, and close gaps in your smile. It can be a great solution if you want porcelain veneers, but you are on a budget. To perform dental bonding, Dr. Hughes will carefully select the precise shade of composite resin that most closely matches the natural color of your smile, and apply it to the teeth you wish to enhance. He will then carefully sculpt the material to achieve a beautiful, natural-looking appearance.

Gum Lift/Gum Contouring

Excess or uneven gum tissue can cause teeth to look worn or unhealthy, even if you have healthy teeth. Dr. Hughes can carefully remove excess gum tissue, working conservatively to minimize discomfort. Although he will often trim away mere millimeters of tissue, the procedure can have a dramatic effect on your smile, creating a beautiful new frame for your teeth. This treatment can be an excellent complement to porcelain veneers. For patients with advanced gum disease, we also offer gingivectomy, a means of gently removing diseased gum tissue to restore your oral health.

Smile Makeover

If you want to transform your smile completely, you may be a good candidate for a smile makeover. A smile makeover combines two or more procedures to create a smile that complements your entire appearance. In addition to cosmetic treatments, Invisalign® can provide enormous benefits for your appearance and overall health. Dr. Hughes has performed many smile makeovers, and he has the experience necessary to give you the smile you have always wanted.
